A simple tool that remains surprisingly effective.\n Discover how to adjust the tool to suit your body, learn an efficient posture, improve your mowing technique, sharpen the blade correctly and carry out basic maintenance. A simple, economical and surprisingly effective method for the regenerative care of the land.\nBased on traditional and modern techniques learnt in France, where the scythe is still widely used as a tool for ecological management and\nregenerative agriculture.\nDon’t miss this collaborative event!\n Sunday 10 October: IKI-GAIA slowtour\nA day to connect with nature, the community and the regenerative vision of IKI-GAIA Ecovillage & School of Life and Values .\n\n From 12:00 noon: Welcome Circle\nPresentation of the project, its vision, and its short- and long-term objectives, A co-created mini-tour of the IKI-GAIA Socio-Cultural Centre. 14:30 Healthy meal, from the vegetable garden to the plate, in the shade of the large walnut tree, followed by a nourishing after-lunch chat . 5.30 pm: Walk through some of the key projects on our 240-hectare regenerative farm.\n 19:00 Closing circle beside a centuries-old holm oak and next steps.\nIf you’d like to have dinner with us on this day, please let us know so we can organise the logistics!\nDiscover Schetinin Pedagogy and Education for a New Humanity\n During these sessions, we will be presenting our upcoming Intergenerational Summer Camp, inspired by the innovative educational model developed by Mikhail Schetinin at the Tekos School (Russia), which is internationally recognised for its holistic approach to human development.\nThe camp will take place from 2 to 7 July and will offer a unique opportunity to experience some of the fundamental principles of this pedagogy: cooperative learning, shared responsibility, creativity, the development of talents, connection with nature, and the balanced activation of both hemispheres of the brain through artistic, intellectual, physical and practical activities.\nDuring the event, you will be able to see first-hand how daily life is organised according to this educational model, as well as the benefits it brings to children, young people, families and educators.\nFurthermore, we will share the educational vision that drives Iki-Gaia and the initiatives we are developing to contribute to a cultural transition based on cooperation, the holistic development of the individual, service to the community and a more conscious relationship with nature.\nIf you would like further information about the camp or the Schetinin pedagogy, we would be delighted to assist you.\n📧 contacto@iki-gaia.org ( mailto:contacto@iki-gaia.org )\n📞 +34 659 10 98 09\n1 intergenerational camp inspired by Schetinin’s holistic model at IkiGaia\nMore about the Tekos School\nThe educational model developed by Mikhail Schetinin at Tekos has been internationally recognised for its innovative approach to holistic education and for its ability to foster the development of young people who are independent, creative and committed to their community. The school gained significant international recognition following the publication of Vladimir Megre’s ‘Anastasia’ book series, which sparked the interest of thousands of people in educational models focused on human development and connection with nature.\nFor more than three decades, this approach has fostered the development of well-rounded, intuitive individuals who are in touch with their talents, values and life purpose. Education is not viewed merely as the transmission of knowledge, but as a process of holistic growth encompassing intellectual, emotional, physical, artistic, social and spiritual dimensions.\nThrough community life, cooperative learning, service to others and active participation in real-world projects, young people develop leadership skills, teamwork, responsibility and self-confidence. Various educators who have studied this model highlight its ability to nurture individual talents, encourage collaboration over competition, and promote a more harmonious balance between qualities traditionally associated with masculinity and femininity.\nThe result is an education focused not only on academic success, but also on the full development of each individual and their positive contribution to society.\nFind out more about this holistic model here ( https://semillamontealegre.es/es/escuela-gaia/de-proyecto-educativo-piloto-a-complejo-formativo-schetinin/ )!!\n
