RIE Winter Gathering
We are excited to host the RIE Winter Gathering at Iki Gaia!
After welcoming a large multi-gathering in the summer of 2022, this winter we open our doors once again for this intimate and strategic meeting of the Iberian Ecovillage Network.

This event brings together representatives of member projects and collaborators to share, plan the year ahead, hold sociocratic elections, and decide which ecovillage will host the next summer gathering.
✨ New this year: For the first time, “Friends of the RIE”—a new membership category officially introduced in the last summer gathering—will be able to join the event.
🌿 Do you have a community or ecovillage project?
This gathering is a great opportunity to connect with the network and contribute. However, participation for new projects is limited to those that are sponsored (“godparented”) by a member ecovillage.
If you’re interested in joining the network, we recommend attending a Summer Gathering first or reaching out to a full-member ecovillage to explore sponsorship possibilities.
