Opportunity... the land, the moment, the group, its projects... seems to me an opportunity in a situation in which some people believe that things like IKI-GAIA are required
Everyone is looking for their place in the world. And for tasks that fill and fulfill you.
For me, one of the most beautiful tasks is being a mother. So I was looking for a place where my children could be themselves and be shown how to live in symbiosis with this planet and not as a parasite. A place where you live to live and not to function. A place where children and adults are just human and live in a community.
Our Ikigaia. I'm glad to have found you and I'm really looking forward to September. The kids are a little scared now. They fear change because they are slowly beginning to understand the extent of our plan... But that's a good thing and is allowed to be there.
Because change always makes two strings vibrate in us. On the one hand sadness and fear of leaving old things behind (and possibly losing) and on the other hand the happy anticipation and courage for new things ❤️
I’ve always been a person who likes to discover, try out, create, stick with it and persevere.
I love wood and everything that has to do with it.
(But I also like to work with clay, stones and other natural materials.)
When we discovered Ikigaia, the first thing we fell in love with was the wonderful people there. People who have similar or even the same thoughts, experiences, fears, hopes, dreams and goals. The country convinced us the second time. But then a lot. The weather was rainy (it was March) and when the fog crept up the mountain and covered everything with magic, we all saw us living there and loved it.
Here we can create something very new, with a team of heart-people (our tribe).
I’m really looking forward to it and I’m infinitely happy to be able to be part of it.

From enjoying selling seaweed, these beings are among the oldest on the planet, to finding a tribe with which to connect with the essence of what it means to live as a human being. Life leads me to the origins 🙂
Why be a collaborating founder of the Ikigaia Ecovillage?
I think it's very important to unite. The heart of the village are the children! How to offer them a respectful accompaniment. I would like to show them how wonderful it is to connect with the earth, how beautiful it is to play with clay with its infinite possibilities of creation.
I am very interested in permaculture on an agricultural and human level. I love the dynamic in the founders group.
Together with my husband Ruben, and our three childrens Amèlie, Santiago and Ginevra. In 2013, we built our farm to give ourselves the chance to be in touch with nature. We are passionate about environment and healthy products.
Later on, we extended our farm to include our B&B. The name ComeBack originates from our desire to go back to nature, we want to dig back to those long forgotten traditions, and learn from the wisdom that comes from the hard work of land cultivation. We want to share the fruits of this never-ending discovery with you!
I love living with people from various cultures and awake beings that vibrate on the same wavelength. We live in unforeseen times that require new creative solutions. I have faith that we will create a wonderful place that nurtures us, inspiring our lives and the lives of others.
