1st Charity Gala 2026
🌱SATURDAY OPEN DAY + CHARITY GALA🌱
Do you enjoy surprises, sharing abundance, connecting with others, and creating/promoting a network of projects and visions for the new humanity?
Collaborative workshop · Learn by doing
📅 Saturday | 9.00 am – 12.00 pm
The best way to get to know IKI-GAIA is to experience it from the inside.
During the morning, you’ll join the team in some of the project’s day-to-day tasks: the vegetable garden, the kitchen, maintaining the grounds, clearing undergrowth with a scythe, small-scale building work, or whatever else needs doing at the time.
More than just a day of volunteering, it’s a hands-on immersion where you’ll experience how we organise our work, collaborate as a community and turn everyday challenges into opportunities to learn, share and regenerate the land.
An opportunity to connect with the land, with people, and with another way of living and creating together. 🌿

Charity gala with music for the soul
If you can’t join us in the morning, come along in the afternoon to enjoy the high vibration and light that this place radiates when abundance, love and music come together in unity.

What will we be doing?
- We invite you to discover our space from 6 pm and start the evening by enjoying a selection of refreshing, natural, non-alcoholic drinks whilst you connect with the tranquillity of the place.
- At 7.30 pm, we’ll hold a guided tour of Iki-Gaia, where you can learn about our history, our regeneration projects and the vision that drives this living space.
- At 8 pm, we’ll share a delicious ‘from garden to plate’ dinner made with organic ingredients, many of them freshly harvested from our vegetable garden and grown using pure water from our spring. A culinary experience lovingly crafted to nourish the body, awaken the senses and celebrate the earth’s bounty.

- At around 9 pm, as the sun sets, we’ll let the music take over.
A Concert for the Soul with the great composer Edu, accompanied this time by the warm voice of Paloma, who will guide us through an intimate experience where their presence and healing music will create a space of beauty, calm and connection that will leave a lasting impression.

EDU:
Eduardo is a passionate musician who began his journey with the guitar at the age of ten. He initially trained in classical guitar at the Conservatoire and later broadened his musical horizons by studying jazz at the CAMM in Málaga.
Beyond his academic training, he believes that an essential part of his learning has come from meeting numerous musicians who have passed on their knowledge and sensitivity through shared experiences.
Music is part of his everyday life. He enjoys performing both solo and alongside other musicians, continually exploring new sounds and forms of expression.
He is a multi-instrumentalist and plays the guitar, bass, flutes, sitar, percussion and any instrument that piques his curiosity.
As a composer, he writes both the music and the lyrics for his songs. His creations spring from the deepest human experiences: love, joy, friendship, meditation and spirituality, as well as pain, fear, sadness and the transformation that arises from embracing them all.
Her music invites you to feel, to open your heart and to remember the beauty of being alive.

PALOMA:
Paloma Iria has been singing since childhood, guided by an intuitive and deeply personal relationship with her voice. Over the last two years, she has begun to share her art on stage, seeing singing as a space for presence, connection and listening.
For her, music – just like dance, poetry and other art forms – is a tool for self-regulation, for living one’s truth and for forging genuine bonds with people and the world around her. In this concert, she is delighted to accompany Edu’s magical compositions, putting her voice at the service of music born from the heart and directed towards the hearts of others.

If you have a tree or shrub that’s particularly dear to you, you can bring a photograph and get answers to your questions. And if you’d prefer to leave your mark on Iki-Gaia, you’ll have the chance to plant one of our trees and become its guardian. 🌳 We’ll look after it all year round, and you can come back to visit it and watch it grow with us.

IKIGAIA – SLOW TOUR:
Guided tour of key points across the 240 hectares
Led by Rakel DomÃnguez, permaculturist, anthropologist, founder and guardian of IKI-GAIA, we’ll explore this living landscape to understand how nature can become our greatest ally in the regeneration of ecosystems and human communities.
During the tour, we’ll discover the extraordinary biodiversity this place is home to, fostered by the abundance of water, the presence of the unique phenomenon of horizontal rain, and a landscape that demonstrates the Mediterranean’s enormous regenerative potential when we work in harmony with nature.

We’ll share the vision guiding the development of Iki-Gaia, learn about the progress of our syntropic edible forest, water harvesting strategies, future microhabitats, and how these elements come together to create a resilient, fertile and abundant way of life.
More than just a guided tour, this will be an invitation to view the area with fresh eyes and discover how regeneration can become a real solution to desertification, rural depopulation and the challenges of our time. 🌿
Through your collaboration and contribution, you’ll be helping to bring this new cycle to life with the launch of the first group of pioneers, which we’ll begin developing this autumn at Iki-Gaia. A living space for coexistence, learning and regeneration that will grow around our mother yurt and the expansion of the syntropic edible forest. A magical place where the first microhabitats will emerge, along with the regenerative community that will bring them to life.
