    Graphic designers, computer scientists, programmers, communicators, and all kinds of support in advertising and network management, marketing, logistics, cooking, animation, etc. are welcome.

  • BIOCONSTRUCTION BIOCLIMATIC CAMPING

    Although the farm has already renovated infrastructure to start with some projects from minute 0 (school, bakery, tourist accommodation, etc., we have many square meters built to be renovated and a unique bioclimatic camping project very ambitious that encompasses the entire surface of the land and where we are working on the holistic design.

    For this, we need to expand the multidisciplinary team of collaborators (permaculturists, biobuilders, engineers, architects, site managers, etc.) who would like to try and project themselves in our ecovillage and/or contribute in this design and planning phase, learn and develop professionally in this area that will generate many jobs as soon as the implementation phase begins.

We pass you some basic information about the protocol of approach to our Eco village project. It is essential to have completed it in order to participate in any of the workshops we organize.

In this phase of the project we especially welcome people and families with a pioneering profile who are determined to commit to this way of life in coherence with their/our principles and who have some savings to contribute to the process of land acquisition and development of the key projects of the Healing Biotope.

2 STEP: become a sympathising member

INTIMATE ONLINE MEETING AND PRESENT MEETINGS:
Once a month we offer intimate online meeting and face-to-face meetings to members (very limited places) where we answer questions and concerns and deepen our knowledge of both parties.

For those of you who want to know more details about the process and the timeline, the economic situation, the types of members and internal details about the project, we invite you to become a sympathising member of our association, as a 2nd step after filling out the survey above. Here you can see the advantages we offer you for becoming a member.

We recommend to start the process of approaching our Eco village project at least a few weeks before coming to meet us, to a meeting or to arrange a telephone/online appointment to come as informed as possible and to make the most of the time on both sides.

If you have already taken any of the steps listed in the protocol, please let us know in order to speed up the sending of the internal information.

 


STEPS TO BECOME A MEMBER:

1) The first document we need you to sign to get internal informations is the confidentiality agreement.

This project that we will share with you is the result of 10 years of travel and this protocol is a basic measure of self-care that we have established, especially due to the strong speculation that exists in this area of Malaga and because of the problems that have caused us to share our work so happily in the past.

We need you to sign the confidentiality document both adults of the couple, in case you have one, on all the pages. For the moment, a photo is enough, but we will need the original when you come to a meeting. What we expressly ask is that you do not talk about the exact place, nor the town where it is located, nor the size. You can speak openly about the vision and the ecovillage project in Malaga.

 

2) The second thing we need in order to share with you the extensive presentation of the project, as well as the models of participation, the timeline and the internal economic info, is that you formalize your registration as a member and send us a proof of payment of 50 €.. In this way, we can send you all the detailed information of our proposal so that you can feel it and study it calmly.

This membership fee of 50€/year allows us to cover all the administrative costs that are generated with the processes of approach / integration of new families, while putting in value the fruit of our work of 10 years, at least symbolically ?.

0 RISK AND MONEY-BACK GUARANTEES FROM 3 YEARS ONWARDS

In order to facilitate the exit of people who come to try out and have not finally resonated with the project or the vision, we believe it is advisable to leave a good exit door after the 3rd year of commitment. Not before, since departures always generate instability and this in the beginning does not help the pioneer group that would have to bear it with an extra effort.

EXTENSIONS OF RIGHTS IN CASE OF DELAYS WITH THE OPENING OF THE CAMPSITE

Although we already have urban feasibility of the project and, if all goes well, the 1st phase of the campsite can be opened 18 months after the purchase, to leave all the ropes well tied in case of unforeseen events, we have included an extension to compensate for possible delays with the administrative deadlines for permits and others:

If after the 2nd year since the property was acquired, the campsite is not operational as planned, we will see to extend to all members who paid deposits fees, the rights according to the time of delay.

 

We understand that the accommodation conditions that we offer to pioneer members in the phase prior to the opening of the campsite are not of the same comfort that you will be able to enjoy once the campsite is open, so we have developed this option that supposes 0 RISK for you, in case that for some reason the campsite is not open or you want to leave. In this case, if for any reason, you do not want to continue with the project, you would only have to wait 3 years to recover your deposit.

 

¿HOW CAN ON LEAVE?

As you can see in the clauses

"In the event that a person or family investor decides to leave the project at the end of the 3rd year of the right without the campsite is operating and has made use of their rights, if there is no person or family on the waiting list, they will have to find a person or family to replace them and to be approved by the Board of Directors of the association. In this case, the person or family that replaces him/her will have to pay the full fee paid to this family or person and, to the association or legal entity that replaces him/her, the difference with respect to the fee in force at that moment. If the person or family has already enjoyed some time of its right, it will recover the corresponding part of the unused years".

INSPIRA-SANACCIÓN CENTER: IKIGAIA

We are aware that the regain of our SOVEREIGNTY in the fields of HEALTH, EDUCATION, FOOD, and ENERGY are the basis of any successful process of deep transformation of society, as well as the central role played by individualized and respectful Education in the formation of FREE BEINGS with a critical spirit. We want to BE GOOD REFERENCES AND SOURCES OF INSPIRATION to facilitate from the EXAMPLE the replication of the New Paradigm in all areas of life.

Driven by the implementation of the educational project for children of compulsory school age that next year 2021/22 would start its 4th year of life and an interdisciplinary Academy of PermaCulture - Semilla Monte Alegre - and for all generations that nourishes it with practice, wisdom and coherence, our Center of Inspira-San-Acción offers us the ideal framework to develop all other projects that feed back into the school: Farm School and Holistic Livestock, Science, Arts and Technology Laboratories, Arts and Crafts Schools, Socio-cultural Center, etc.  Projects aligned with Iki-Gaia's vision that promote the development of SOVEREIGN beings capable of discerning, facing the challenges of society and the planet and materializing their individual and collective dreams.

GAIA ECO-LEARNING COMMUNITY

This project is born from the recognition  that Education has the central role  in the formation of VALUES and in social action, as well as from the total commitment with the TRANSFORMATION of the educational process to promote a NEW PARADIGM that favors the replication of sustainable and equitable societies.

Our motor and integral life project, which is already in its third year  (and already has a homeschooling program approved in Estonia while the approval process is underway in Spain), allows the reunion of families with similar values who want to be participants in the co-creation of a different holistic school where the cooperation of the entire educational community - students, companions and family members - among themselves and with their environment, is essential for the proper development of the school.

Acting locally and thinking globally, we encourage the participation and collaboration of people from different generations, disciplines and cultures, aware that the future of the planet will depend on us offering them, NOW and despite the context of integral crisis that we are suffering, the best conditions for their psycho-social, physical and emotional development.

SUSTAINABLE TOURISM IKI-GAIA SLOW

Due to the great acceptance and demand that exists between tourists, foreign resident families, and Spanish families that want to complement the education of their children with a more outdoor educational proposal that emphasizes on environmental education and values, we have decided to open a more public area, a bioclimatic campsite, and offer attractive options for the whole family designed to bring children closer to nature and develop their commitment to the environment. With a large natural swimming pool, a farm-school where the children can feed the animals, a large garden area with native trees and fruit trees to learn about the local ecosystem and the arts of farming, a biotope where they can discover how the amphibians of the region live, etc. being at Iki-Gaia will be an unforgettable experience.

Through Iki-Gaia Slow rural tourism, you will also be able to approach this holistic project as a collaborator and try out a more conscious and coherent lifestyle, complementing, at the same time, the holistic education of your children in an environment of Nature, respect and sustainability that values our heritage, customs and traditions in a very enjoyable and original way.

ACTIVITIES IN NATURE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

We will also organize tours along the hiking trails so that you can discover the vegetation and fauna native to the area; climbing days; visits to the mini Iki-gaia Adventure Park and other spots of tourist interest in the area.

And to complement the proposal of the campsite: concerts, workshops and talks of all kinds about the environment, recognition of edible wild plants, healthy family cooking, arts and crafts, etc. and of course, circus shows to make your stay in our campsite an unforgettable experience!

SUSTAINABILITY, BIOCONSTRUCTION AND BIOCLIMATISM DEFINE THE ESSENCE OF IKI-GAIA

Located in one of the most beautiful places in Axarquia, the Iki-gaia campsite will offer different types of accommodation so that you can choose the one that best suits your needs: spacious bungalows, stone, wood or earthbag houses, plots to erect your own tent or yurt or park your vehicle or caravan, caravans to accommodate a whole family, as well as shelters built of wood and comfortable cotton tents with enough space for four people. All powered by wind energy and heating systems for the winter based on olive pits.

Pioneers, collaborators and long and short term visitors, as well as organized groups from all over the world will be able to rent even campsite cores to do their own training or activities and participate in those offered by Iki-Gaia in a magical, unique and inspiring environment.

HEALTHY HOMES WITH GREAT AIR QUALITY AND COMFORT

The designs of our houses are conceived, paying special attention to the materials that we find in the area and the use of energy, prioritizing the passive systems to reduce the energy demand (good orientation, heavy elements with high thermal inertia, sizing of windows, compact designs, grouping of installations, etc).

With unbeatable acoustic, thermal and air quality comfort, the passive houses that we are planning in the campsite act in a similar way to an insulated thermos, since it maintains its content at a correct temperature, without the need for active heating or cooling, as happens with a coffee machine. Its ventilation system imperceptibly supplies the necessary fresh air, avoiding the formation of humidity and the generation of mould.

With our approach to housing, we try to address the future moment to which we are doomed with new regulatory requirements from climate change and the temporalityof natural resources, so that it results in a benefit in the long run, from the proper use of resources
